Akos Organisational Changes

AKOS are delighted to announce the appointment of Amanda Cahalane to the position of Managing Director.

Amanda has an excellent track record of building successful teams and departments within Pharmacovigilance. She has always placed a great deal of importance on delivering quality and efficiency. She is well placed to build on this expertise while focussing on a much broader remit in her new role at AKOS.

After spending 12 months working closely with the AKOS Limited Senior Management Team, Peter Rees is to return to his Consultancy Business and to several non-executive Board appointments.

The transition will commence immediately and Amanda will assume her new responsibilities as of 28th February 2011.

Additionally, Christos Pagonis, has left Akos and will be replaced by Anthea Hale who will act as the Quality Manager for Akos in the interim period. Anthea brings with her a wealth of experience as an auditor gained during a 20 year career in numerous Quality Assurance roles with global Pharmaceutical companies.

Please join me in congratulating Amanda and Anthea in their new positions and also to wish Peter and Christos the very best in the future.
